JTL Nutmeg Book Club

Grades 4-6 (Ages 8-12). Registration required. 

You’re invited to our first official meeting! August’s selection will be Nutmeg Intermediate nominee All Rise for the Honorable Perry T. Cook by Leslie Connor. Perry T. Cook is being raised in a minimum security prison with his mother. When there is a “changing of the guard”, Perry is forced to live outside for the first time. Perry soon discovers that home is where you are loved, even if it is behind bars.

Get ready for lively discussion, activities and a book-related treat. This month’s snack will be pudding dirt cups with gummy “bookworms".

*Books will be available to borrow the month prior to each event.
