New Lebanon Town Website Coming in September

The Town of Lebanon will launch a completely new website this September as part of a months-long effort to modernize the site and provide residents with the most up-to-date information possible in a more accessible format.

The new website will feature two calendars on its front page — one for public meetings and one for community events. This way you will be able to easily find exactly what you are looking for, whether it is an important meeting of a Board or Commission or a fun event for you and your family.

The site also features a series of “action buttons” in the center of the page just below the featured image. These buttons will allow you to quickly find the most requested information on the site — property cards, online tax payments, meeting agendas and minutes, and a button that will take you directly to the schools’ website.

We have also completely revamped the drop-down menus so you can find information on departments, boards, commissions, or events more easily. For example, all departments with offices located in Town Hall are listed first, while other departments are sorted separately, and regional services get their own section as well.

You can also hover over the Resources tab to find almost anything quickly.

The website is not yet finished being developed and some parts of the layout you see above may still change slightly as we finish building out the site and adding links to various forms and documents.

We look forward to making this new website and its new content available to you in early September, and to keep bringing you updated and all new content over the weeks and months following the initial launch.
