The Town of Lebanon, CT has hired Vision Government Solutions Inc to complete its state-mandated revaluation program. The reassessment project will establish market value as of October 1, 2018 and will be reflected in the tax bills due July 1, 2019. Data collectors will start inspections November 15, 2017.
To ensure the safety of our citizens, data collectors will carry a letter of identification from the Assessor’s Office, a photo ID badge and have their cars registered with the Lebanon State Trooper. You may contact the Assessor’s Office at 860-642-6141 for further confirmation. All property owners and tenants are respectfully requested to cooperate with data collectors to ensure that accurate information is used in the revaluation process. Valuation work will continue throughout the coming year with notices of the new valuations being mailed to property owners in the fall of 2018. Residents will have the option of meeting with Vision staff in Lebanon to review the new, proposed assessments. Values will be finalized and appear on the 2018 Grand List.
