Situated in the Liberty Hill section of Lebanon, this wonderful plant farm was started in 1966 by Richard Skaats who was then a Vo Ag student at Lyman High School in town.
Through the years local residents, as well as those from surrounding towns, have purchased glorious hanging plants from the farm which they are known for.
The farm consists of forty acres and has six green houses which provide annuals, perennials, and vegetable plants.
At the present time the farm employs part time help and is run by Tim and Norman Skaats. If it is chrysanthemums in the fall, petunias and other annuals or some vegetables in the spring you can’t beat this family run store. It is known for healthy hardy plants which grace the homes of many in town. Be sure to stop by.
