Follow this link to check your status: Voter Registration Lookup - select LEBANON, type in your name and birth date, click “Search.” Voter registration is verified when the system displays the polling location. If the polling location is not displayed this indicates that you are not registered to vote in town.
Registration forms are available in the Registrar's and Town Clerk's offices in Town Hall and at the Jonathan Trumbull Library.
How Do I get an Absentee Ballot?
If you require an absentee ballot, you may obtain one from the Town Clerk or request one by mail using the downloadable application available from the Secretary of State’s website.
Where do I go to vote? All elections, primaries, and referenda are held at the Lebanon Fire Safety Complex at 23 Goshen Hill Road
Can I vote in the primary? If you are a registered member of a party, you are eligible to vote in that party’s primaries.
Can I vote in the primary if I am only 17? If you will be 18 no later than the date of the November election and you are pre-registered to vote and have enrolled in a party, you are eligible to vote in that party’s primary
Who Is Eligible To Vote in Referenda? All Lebanon registered voters are eligible to vote in Lebanon’s referendum. Also, all Lebanon property owners are eligible to vote provided they are US citizens, 18 years or older, and are recorded in the last completed grand list as personally owning property assessed for over $1000. Property owned in Trust, LLC and Corporations are not considered. The cut-off date for voter registration prior to a referendum is the close of business the day before the referendum.
What do Registrars Do?
Registrars of Voters register voters, update and maintain voter lists, maintain voting machines, make voter information available, administer the polling place on election days, and fulfill other requirements mandated by the Office of the Secretary of State.
Forms for voter registration, address change, name change or party enrollment change are available from the Town Clerk’s office during regular Town Hall hours. These forms may also be obtained by contacting the Registrar’s office.
Before every election special voter registration sessions are held.
