The Town Clerk’s Office is responsible for the safekeeping of all land records, town ordinances, birth, marriage, civil union and death records, maps, liquor permits, veteran discharge filings, town boards/commissions meeting agendas and minutes. The public may have access to a majority of these records during regular business hours.
This office also administers elections, issues marriage, civil union, canine, and sport licenses, registers trade names, notaries, and is the official keeper of the Town Seal. Election forms are available in the town clerk's office.

PLEASE NOTE: The Town Clerk’s office accepts land record recordings up until 30 minutes before the close of business.

Notice of Annual Town Meeting on May 4, 2015 04/28/2015
The annual Town meeting will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 7:30 PM at Lyman High School.

The meeting agenda will consider:

1 - a petition to restrict the Farmers Market from using the green between Town Hall and Rt 207
2 - the 2015- 16 budget which will adjorn to referendum on May 12, 2015
3 - the 2015-16 Capital Improvement Plan
4 - bonding for road and bridge repairs and improvements
5 - bonding for alterations, renovations and additions to the Jonathan Trumbull Library
6 - to refer items 5 and 6 to referendum on May 12, 2015
7 - approval of the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-Pace) Agreement
