Selectman's Corner
BRIDGE TO CLOSE
Near the end of July the Tobacco Street Bridge will be closed and will be reopened on or around November 1st to allow for the replacement of the bridge and roadway approach. We understand the inconvenience this closure will cause but ask your cooperation as we go through the construction process. This bridge had a poor rating by the Connecticut DOT and all construction is fully funded through the State of Connecticut DOT Fix-it-First Funds. Any questions, please contact the Public Works Department at 642-7565.
